A weekend in the desert celebrating Alanna and Adam in Pioneertown, California.
About thirty minutes outside of Joshua Tree is a small town called Pioneertown, CA. When you arrive, It’s like taking a step back in time or watching an old western movie. This town held a special place in Alanna & Adam’s hearts and knew it was the perfect spot to have their desert wedding.
Getting ready photos hold so many special moments..like the time spent with mom or dad, the excitement felt leading up to the ceremony, or all of the little details that come together individually to make the day special. Alanna shared a sweet moment with her mom and also decided to have a first look with her bridesmaids after getting her dress on. I love how she chose to go with different colored bridesmaid dresses because each dress was unique and the colors complimented the desert tones so well.
Alanna and Adam had a first look that overlooked a desert valley full of large boulders. Ultimately, this moment allowed them some time together before they said ‘I do.’
From intimate getting ready moments to a desert wedding ceremony in Pioneertown, CA
Absolute pure joy filled their friends and family’s faces throughout the whole wedding ceremony. Once the wedding ceremony commenced, the barn doors opened to a saloon like reception hall, where guests enjoyed cocktail hour. Meanwhile, this gave us time to get creative, explore the town, and take some bridal portraits before they entered their reception.
After the reception, the night continued on as we drove out to Garth’s Boulder Gardens located in the middle of the desert. A desert wedding experience I will never forget in Pioneertown, California. The after-party featured performances by multiple DJs as well as a night full of dancing. Alanna and Adam’s wedding was truly one of a kind and I loved every minute of it. It was an honor to be part of their special day.
